Cardi B defends Selena Gomez and does not think she should retire: ‘I think she needs another era’

In her Vogue interview, Selena Gomez has opened up on a number of topics and even indicated that she is retiring, and she is getting support from rapper Cardi B.

Gomez, 28, will be releasing her Spanish album Revelación on March 12, though she said: ‘It’s hard to keep making music when people are not necessarily taking you seriously. I’ve had moments like, “What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?”

Cardi B, 28, took to Twitter on Thursday to offer her support to the singer and actress, along with some suggestions and kind words.

“I do not think Selena should retire. She makes great music and her fans love her. “I think she needs another era,” the rapper said.

She added that she would like this new era to be, ‘an edgy one that no one has ever seen her. I would like to give her some ideas.

The Bodak Yellow rapper continued in another tweet: ‘I like Selena tho. I defend her case that she is so lovely personally. ‘
