Capcom struggles with new Resident Evil Village games • Eurogamer.net

Capcom is struggling with a bunch of fresh Resident Evil Village leaks, this time revolving around its tall vampire wife.

This week, YouTube showed videos showing the gameplay of a meeting with Alcina Dimitrescu, but Capcom quickly forced it with a series of copyright claims. Capcom declined to comment when Eurogamer contacted him.

We will not discuss the content of these videos here or link to alternative sources. However, it is fair to say that it has only become much more difficult to avoid spoilers from Resident Evil Village, especially for fans of the internet’s current obsession.

This new leak appears to be related to the release of a developer from Resident Evil Village who was undoubtedly acquired as part of the recent attack on ransomware that Capcom destroyed. Capcom has so far refused to comply with the demands of the attackers of ransomware.

The breach of Capcom’s information set out the company’s emerging schedule to end 2024. Capcom had earlier said it feared up to 350,000 items of personal information could be kept by the attackers of the ransomware, including addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth and photos. But the company later increased that amount to 390,000, with more than 16,000 people confirmed.

It is worth remembering that the assets associated with the alleged Resident Evil Village development building are already obsolete. But it’s a serious leak for Capcom, and given the likelihood of further leaks, it’s a tough time for fans who want to beat the game untouched when it comes out.
