Armie Hammer was in the middle of a controversy last month that started on social media with allegations that he allegedly shared graphic sex fantasies regarding cannibalism with women.
Late on January 10, the 34-year-old actor started tweeting after an anonymous Instagram account called House of Effie shared a series of screenshots in which explicit messages from the actor’s Instagram account were sent to a woman.
The messages – which were not verified – allegedly showed Hammer calling an unknown woman his ‘slave’ and discussing BDSM acts. In one message he appears to admit that he is ‘100% a cannibal’, and in another message he allegedly discusses cutting off a woman’s toes and holding them ‘in his pocket’.
The disturbing screenshots led to several women coming forward with bizarre allegations and even allegations of emotional abuse against Hammer.

Hammer initially called the allegations against him “bulls – t.” In mid-January, his attorney, Andrew Brettler, also issued a denial of the allegations in a statement shared with Fox News.

Women speak out
Among the women who claimed Hammer was his ex-girlfriend, Paige Lorenze. In an interview with Fox News, the 23-year-old model and college student claims she believes the actor ‘Call Me By Your Name’ ‘has a desire to hurt women.’
Lorenze first claims for Star magazine that the actor shares his desire to smoke and eat her ribs. In an interview with Fox News, Lorenze claims that Hammer expressed this wish of his ‘fairly early’ in the relationship and claims that it was ‘definitely disturbing’.
“He talked about finding a doctor to remove my ribs I did not need – the ribs at the bottom – and that he had a smoker at his house. He wanted to smoke and eat it. He wondered. how they would taste and he was basically like, ‘I bet you they’ll taste good.’

Lorenze also shared photos of a scar from the letter ‘A’, Hammer cut with her knife into her body – just above her groin area. “His behavior was definitely cult,” Lorenze told us, calling the act “painful.”
Lorenze claims Hammer was “serious” about eating her ribs. “I think he really has a desire to hurt women,” she said.
Another woman who claims to have dated Hammer before is app founder Courtney Vucekovich. In an interview with Page Six, she claims that Hammer also expressed his desire to break my ribs and fry and eat. Vucekovich did not respond to Fox News’ requests for comment.
Author Jessica Ciencin Henriquez, who allegedly also dated Hammer last year, said on Instagram that she believes the messages are ‘genuine’. Ciencin Henriquez declined to comment when Fox News reached out.
Hammer was married to Elizabeth Chambers for 10 years. In July, Chambers announced their split on social media. The former couple share daughter Harper Grace (5) and son Ford Douglas Armand (3).
Chambers spoke in a long message to Instagram on Monday, February 1st.

“I have been trying for weeks to process everything that has gone on. I am shocked, sad and crushed,” she begins in the caption. “I love sadness, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I did not realize how much I do not know.”
Chambers then said she supported “any victim of assault or ill-treatment” and urged anyone who had gone through such an ordeal to seek help to heal.
“At the moment, I will not comment further on this matter,” she said. “My only focus and attention will still be on our children, on my work and on healing during this incredibly difficult time.”
Miss Cayman scandal
While his former romantic partners had spoken out against him, Hammer came under fire for another controversy over a message he made on a private Instagram account.
In an apology, Hammer confirms that a video of a woman, after whom he is named ‘Miss Cayman’, is leaking. “Miss Cayman” is similar to the title given to the winner of the Miss Cayman Islands Universe competition.
“I want to make it clear that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman,” he told the Cayman Compass. “I’m really sorry for any confusion that my foolish attempt at humor may have caused.”
According to the compass, the woman, who was apparently ‘barely dressed’, was not visible in the video.

“My sincere sympathy to Miss Cayman, whom I do not know, and to the entire organization because I did not intend to imply that she was actually Miss Cayman,” Hammer added.
The video was also by the Miss. Cayman Islands’ whole committee has been exposed. Days later, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service (RCIPS) confirmed in a press release that it had received a complaint about the incident and was investigating it.
“On January 15, 2021, the RCIPS received an allegation of abuse of ICT in connection with a suggestive video posted on social media. Officials investigated the matter and spoke to the suspect, who was warned about his behavior, in accordance with the wishes. of the complainant, ”reads the statement.
The RCIPS confirms ‘the case is now closed’.
Acting career affected
As a result of the ongoing scandal, Hammer resigned from his role in ‘Shotgun Wedding’. He was supposed to appear alongside Jennifer Lopez.
“I’m not responding to these bulls – but in light of the malicious and offensive attacks on me, I can not leave my children for 4 months now to take a film in the Dominican Republic,” Hammer said. in a statement to Variety. “Lionsgate supports me in this and I am grateful to them for that.”

“Army has asked to relinquish the film and we support him in his decision,” a spokesman for the production said in a statement to Fox News at the time.
According to reports, Josh Duhamel has since been appointed to replace the fights for the role.
According to People, Duhamel, 48, was hired to replace Hammer and to keep the movie on schedule following his original star. The issue reports that the movie will start on February 22 in the Dominican Republic.
