In addition, Peruvian patients have experienced a massive fall in access, and in all their forms, to cannabis in pharmacies, there have been only a few years since a history was published that allowed them to be established only. authorized for sale.
It is believed that the law approved in 2017 allowed the plant plant, according to the General Board of Medicines, Drugs and Drugs has been “not given the permits”, affirmed to Efe the president of the organization Cannabis Gotas de Esperanza, Francesca Brivio.
EXPERIENCE FOR GRAVE CASES
It is a veranda in San Juan de Lurigancho, a district of more than 1.2 million inhabitants in the state of Lima, and Jorge Padilla, 71 years old, is located in the hall of his house, accompanied by his husband and wife, with very good health and physical condition.
Without embarrassment, two years ago, Padilla received a diagnosis of cerebral cancer, he realized that he was waiting for the vision of an eye and had problems to get rid of.
“My father’s prognosis (of life) only six months, the tumor that the detector was in grade 4, the most aggressive, a super difficult tumor”, accounted to Efe in his heart, also called Jorge Padilla.
Various kilometers from here, in the northern district of Carabayllo, the family of Roger Quispe, of 31 years, lived anguished because the men of his house had developed an esophageal personality, in addition to the epilepsy that suffers from the age of 7 years.
“I’m very serious, I’ve been with schizophrenia, which includes a pillow, because I’ve been thinking that the institute is persevering and I have to detain it. I’m desperate for it,” Betty Gamarra explains.
Like many families who are looking for help with their needs, Padilla and Quispe’s mother are contacting Brivio, who is organizing the use of cannabis for medicinal and therapeutic purposes.
The Brivio virus has been known to use cannabis for years before receiving a diagnosis of mastocytosis, a disorder that causes the onset of 60 syndromes and a series of medical treatments that are progressively declining.
QUALITY OF VIDA IN ENFERMO
The change has been radical for these people, who have benefited from the legalization of cannabis for their medicinal and therapeutic use, through a huge campaign of civil associations.
It’s Roger’s case that since he started taking cannabis fat much better, he has reduced the number of pills he has taken and has reduced the number of convulsions caused by epilepsy.
“Since I’ve been taking these medications, I’m feeling better because I’m the first person to talk to me, I’ve been waiting for them to come, I’re wondering if I’ll have anything … since I’m the fat, I’re better,” he said.
His mother agreed that “convulsions have greatly reduced and also increased all the psychosis that tenia”.
Padilla, on the other hand, started a treatment with cannabis acetic acid in parallel with chemotherapy and was “normal”, because the dice had the impact of the therapy and the “desánimo de las pastillas”.
“I feel like cannabis is normalizing me, I am living my molestations. Including in my mouths I have had my fill in the park, but now I have been freaked out by the pandemic,” he commented.
AL MARGEN DE LA MEDICINA TRADISIONELE
Max Alzamora, one of the founding physicians of Gotas de Esperanza, said to Efe that he had treated his patients a year ago when he was approved to regulate the medicinal use of cannabis in Peru, while believing that it was “arriesgando tanto” the patient as the physician “who uses it.
Following the promulgation of the lie, by prescribing organizations such as the Brivio, the regulation that the ejection was approved in 2019, but at the moment only a state pharmacy sells the product in Lima.
“The only thing that can be sold is in Lima, and the only thing that can be done is to sell the flowers, which in my treatment are important”, assures Brivio.
Alzamora advises, for its part, that “you can enter social media and find cannabis, but do not want to say that it is a good product because it has no taxation method”.
In this regard, in addition to revealing that only the permits for the summer are in place, Brivio says that the treatment is also covered by health insurance, as long as the regulations allow it.
DIFFICULT ACCESS TO CANNABIS
At least two components of the plant, THC and CBD, have been extensively studied and have been proven, in the first place, to have an analgesic, anti-nasal and antitumor effect, including Alzamora.
“The CBD is the euphoric component, which has an anticonvulsant, anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory, antidepressant action, increases fine motor coordination, balance and a high dose can condition the patient”, the specialist explained.
The medicine uses both components in different concentrations, from all parts of the plant, to treat its patients in agreement with its diagnosis, and can also be administered in acetone, vaporizer, vesicles and vaginal ovaries, among other things.
Alzamora agrees that during “all this time” he “worked on the injury, but evidently had a major increase in the quality of life of the patients”.
The consultation of this medicine was completed one year ago when it was formally performed in Lima, and during this period has reached more than 1,200 patients with 127 different diagnoses.
