Round 1: Canelo feins and Yildirim tries to stick out with a stab. Canelo’s left hook touches the body. Canelo tries another hook that partially blocks Yildirim, then Canelo directs the body again with a right hand. Hard left hook land for Canelo, according to the referee, it strayed low. Canelo shoots two shots to the top when Yildirim oversees. Another left hook ends up to the body for Canelo. Yildirim misses his own left hook to the body badly. Hard right hand lands down for Canelo, then a left hook to the head. Yildirim misses three shots. Yildirim tugged at his body this time. Canelo doubles this time on his left hand and then moments later throws another right to the body. Cinnamon 10-9.
Round 2: Jab van Yildirim is blocked. Canelo misses a jab bo. Uppercut lands clean for Canelo on the chin, and supports Yildirim. Another capital letter of Canelo’s scores. Now Canelo lands a tight stitch, followed by a left hook to the body. Yildirim is early on in defense and still gets touched. Three beats come from Canelo while Yildirim covers up. Canelo digs back to the body with a left hook. Difficult left to the body lands again for Canelo, then another. Real capital letters land for Canelo this time. It was a target practice early in the battle. Yildirim throws a right hand to the body. Hard straight right land for Canelo, then a left hook at the top. Canelo 10-9, 20-18.
Round 3: Yildirim’s face appears between the rounds on the left. Canelo investigates with some jabs and then tries a hook behind it. Canelo’s right hook is blocked. Difficult left to the body lands again for Canelo. Right hook scores for Canelo on the body, Yildirim gets his own body shot, BUT CANELO LANDS TWO SHOTS ON THE HEAD AND PUT YILDIRIM OFF! Yildirim is up, but takes two hard body shots to the liver. Yildirim on the ropes and takes shots from Canelo. Yildirim throws a counter but takes a shot to the head. Yildirim is hurting the body by repeated liver shots. Left hook from Canelo ends up at the top. Yildirim tries a hook to the body, but takes two in exchange for Canelo. Yildirim does not look too solid at the moment. Cinnamon 10-8.
Round 4: Yildirim trainer Joel Diaz is already threatening to pull off the fight if Yildirim does not immediately turn things around. Wow, it looks like the fight was stopped in the corner before the fourth round starts. Canelo TKO-3.
