Canelo Alvarez vs. Avni Yildirim fight results: live box updates, scorecard, start time, undercard

United super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez returns to Miami on Saturday for the first time since 2008, when he clashed with WBC’s obligatory challenger Avni Yildirim at Hard Rock Stadium.

A crowd of 15,000 fans, who are socially distant, will see Alvarez (54-1-2, 36 KOs) defend his WBA and WBC titles at £ 168, turning just twice, after winning the unbeaten Callum Smith widely pointed out.

Alvarez, 30, wants to stay just as active as he is to defeat Yildirim (21-2, 12 KOs), a former teammate. The Mexican superstar hopes to fight four times in 2021 with the goal of becoming the super middleweight division’s first undisputed champion.

McWilliams Arroyo tackles Abraham Rodriguez for the interim WBC flyweight title after champion Julio Cesar Martinez was forced to withdraw earlier this week with a hand injury. The fight was only made official on Saturday morning after it was approved by the commission. Arroyo won three consecutive games, while Rodriguez won a four-game winning streak.

CBS Sports will be with you all the way on Saturday, so follow the live results and highlights below.
