Candy Company pays $ 30 per hour to eat, review sweets

Sweet gig.

A Canadian confectioner hires chocoholics and candy lovers to try treats for the sweet salary of $ 30 an hour.

Candy Funhouse is looking for full-time and part-time “candyists” to taste and review sweets, according to a recent post. The candy business, located in Mississauga, Ontario, currently has 3,000 products and needs candidates with a strong sweet tooth to pick 10 new, original treats for its first Candy Funhouse brand.

The full-time role requires you to do test tests in person, while the part-time sweets are sent to them remotely. (iStock)

Friendly sale to restaurant group finalized

According to the post, the candy experts must ‘taste samples objectively’ and ‘take into account aspects of taste, texture and quality’, while following the company’s own rating system to write short reviews that appear in Candy Funhouse’s marketing materials.

The sweet concert is open to anyone in the US or Canada over the age of 18 with a high school degree and a passion for candy (and no food allergies). There are currently two types of roles available: a full-time role requires trial testing and a part-time remote concert that needs to be tested outside the site (the candy is sent to the employee’s address).
