A Twitter dispute between Cardi B and Candace Owens ended Tuesday night with Owens claiming she intends to sue Cardi for posting a tweet suggesting Owens’ husband cheated on her with her brother. Do you have it all?
Cardi had posted a clip of Owens speaking on Fox News, in which she said that Cardi and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP” performance at the Grammys “feels like we’re looking at corrosion, as if we’re going to see the end of an empire.”
Owens responded to Cardi’s tweet by calling her “a cancer cell for culture”, and well, things just went from there.
After much more back and forth we just skip, Cardi posted a tweet, presumably from Owens, reads: ‘Yes, my husband cheated on me with my brother. Yes, he said no when I asked to join them. ”
Owens answered by calling the tweet a Photoshop task, while Cardi pointed to some special blogs who picked up the image and reported on it as if it were real.
Owens’ next move was claims that she will involve lawyers for Cardi’s “slander” of her brother, “a private citizen,” addition, ‘Just talked to my family. I sue Cardi 100% for that nonsense, ”shortly afterwards.
Owens was apparently comfortable with dropping the case there, while Cardi still tweeted about the situation, concluding “Electricity and buy [her latest single] UP, ”along with an image of former first lady Melania Trump, who was dragged into this whole mess earlier.
