MEXICO CITY
The Secretariat of External Relations (SRE) informs about the evacuation against the covid-19 in conjunction with the Sanitary Authorities of the United States for the Mexican community in that country, through the 50 consulates.
The chancellery indicates that, among consuls, he has been vaccinated against coronavirus for his patients in the cities of Albuquerque, Atlanta, Boise, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Douglas, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami , New Orleans, Omaha, Orlando, Raleigh, Sacramento, Saint Paul, Salt Lake City, San José, Houston and Phoenix.
While the general consuls in Sacramento and San Diego are on permanent vacation.
The personal consultation is available in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Douglas, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Laredo, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, Milwaukee, Orlando, Phoenix, Saint Paul, San José, Tucson and Washington.
CAMPESINOS VACUNATION
The SRE informs that, with the support of the Consuls in Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando and Saint Paul, there are agricultural workers vacated during the last week.
We also signal that this Saturday will initiate a pilot program administered by the Ministries of Health and Agriculture of the Province of Ontario, to allow Mexicans participating in the Mexico-Canada Temporary Agricultural Workers’ Program (PTAT) to receive the vaccine against COVID 19 from his visit to Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Agreed with the Secretariat, this program will be operated during the next few months, as part of the Phase II of the Ontario Immunization Plan, which includes persons working in sectors considered as essentials.
Formerly initiated the evacuation processes in British Columbia and Quebec, with the participation of the Consuls General in Vancouver and Montreal.
