It turns out that men really are not dogs.
A married couple in Quebec apparently decided to test a loophole they discovered in local coronavirus regulations. Unfortunately, the authorities do not agree that men can be considered ‘pets’.

Authorities spotted the woman last Saturday around 9pm as the woman led her husband to the leash in an attempt to use an evening clock implemented due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In Quebec, residents are allowed to walk dogs after hours, provided they stay close to their homes, the BBC reports.

The woman was apparently trying to claim that she was walking with her dog when the authorities approached her. The apology apparently did not convince the officials (apparently men can be trained to use a toilet and do not have to walk the same way as dogs do), and both the man and the woman are fined more than $ 12,000 imposed for breaking the evening clock.
Officials reportedly told local media that the couple did not cooperate with the police.
The woman also stated that she does not intend to pay the fine, reports Insider.
