Police in Canada are investigating after a TV reporter was harassed by a man who hurled a vulgar remark at her while filming a segment.
Krista Sharpe, a reporter for the Canadian broadcaster CTV, was filming in the city of Kitchener in Ontario when a driver shouted ‘f – k her in the p – y’ out of his car window before driving away.
The journalist shared the footage on Twitter on Monday, writing: “It’s not funny and not cool.”
‘As much as I like to say, it does not bother me. It makes me feel like sh-t, ”she wrote.
Sharpe said the harassment was particularly worrying, as she often works alone, adding: “It’s always happening to female reporters and it needs to stop.”
Waterloo Regional Police responded to Sharpe’s tweet and said officers would investigate the matter.

Waterloo local police chief Bryan Larkin said the footage, which has been shared thousands of times in the meantime, could be submitted as evidence, the CBC reported.
‘This incident is unacceptable, vulgar and offensive. No one should be exposed to hatred and bullying in the workplace, ” Larkin tweeted.
