Canadian salesman thrown from stolen car while thief chases away in a wild surveillance video

Police in London, Ontario, are looking for a male suspect involved in a vehicle theft that nearly killed a car salesman.

Authorities said the suspect attended a second-hand car dealership in Oxford Street East 080 on March 3 at around 05:40. The suspect left a silver Audi and entered the dealership to talk to an employee about a black BMW M4 in 2018. to speak on the premises.

Surveillance footage released by the police captured the incident.

The video shows the couple approaching the vehicle and the suspect entering the driver’s seat while a male employee turns on the car. The suspect then puts the vehicle in gear and accelerates in the direction of the male employee.

The employee jumped on the hood of the vehicle while the suspect drove out of the premises and drove east on Oxford Street East. The employee holds the vehicle as the suspect approaches Highbury Avenue, whereupon he slips off the hood.

A second vehicle, which can be seen in the video, drives past the victim as he falls off the car and almost hits him as it passes. The victim was transported to hospital with minor injuries by Middlesex-London Paramedic Services.

The CTV of Canada identified the salesman as 23-year-old Moe Al-Kaissy.

Al-Kaissy told CTV that it was a ‘very scary’ experience and that he thought he was going to die.

“At one point I had to grab the cattle arm because I slipped and my feet were dragged on the street and my shoes got lost – my socks tore. My feet are now all torn up.”

The male suspect is described as having a thin skin, thin build, about 5’8 “, 14 pounds, black puffy hair, black beard, black mask, wearing a dark blue suit with a white dress shirt with dots.

The stolen vehicle is a black BMW M4 of 2018 with a red leather interior and a dealer plate 084DRX. The silver Audi is described as dark-colored windows, a sunroof and silver fields. The stolen BMW M4 and the Audi were last seen turning south to Highbury Avenue.

Investigators are asking for dash-cam video of anyone who was in the area during the incident.
