(CNN) – Canada announces the markets that the Proud Boys are designated as a terrorist unit, together with other 12 groups. The Proud Boys consider themselves a “violent extremist group for ideological reasons” together with others 3; Atomic Weapons, Base and Russian Imperial Movement Division.
Officials say that the medium will help Canada to consolidate the financial assets of the groups and criminalize the financing, capacity and recruitment.
Last week, the Canadian Parliament unanimously approved a motion in which Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was appointed to appoint the Proud Boys as a terrorist group banned.
