With retirement long in the back of her mind, Cameron Diaz is set to be a mother now.
The former actress-turned-winemaker (48), who appeared on SiriusXM’s “Quarantined with Bruce”, talked about a possible return to acting and how motherhood has changed her priorities.
“Will I ever make a movie again? I do not want to, but I do? I do not know. I have no idea,” Diaz said in the interview. ‘Maybe, never should never say, but I could not imagine being a mother where I was as a mother with my child in her first year to be on a movie set that was 14 hours, 16 hours of my day do not take. away from my child. ‘
“I just could not … I would not have been the mother I was now, if I had chosen it at another time in my life,” Diaz continued. “I feel for so many mothers who can’t, who have to go to work, you know, whatever they do. Diaz shares daughter Raddix (1) with her husband, Benji Madden, the guitarist of Good Charlotte. The couple were married in 2015.
In addition to being a mother, Diaz is also focused on Avaline – an organic wine brand that she started in 2020 with fashion entrepreneur Katherine Power.

“Avaline is the only kind of daily work I do, other than being a wife and mother,” she said, noting that winemaking was ‘rewarding’.
“It really was the most satisfying part of my life so far,” Diaz concluded.
