“I am afraid of my children’s physical and mental well-being,” Denton wrote in court documents.
The DCFS statement said he could not comment on his role but regretted the loss of the children.
“The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services is joining the community and mourns the loss of the three children in Reseda,” a DCFS statement to Fox News read. “State law protects the confidentiality of records for all children and families who may have come under the protection of children, and prohibits it from confirming or commenting whether a child or family was involved with the department.”
It added that the laws were introduced to protect the privacy of children, siblings and families while trying to resolve disputes.
