California absent suspect arrested after stabbing himself to death with 2 women

A 29-year-old suspect who allegedly lived in an apartment with a gun and two women on the floor was arrested in Northern California on Saturday after an eight-hour dispute with police, including SWAT- staff.

Police in Vacaville, about 55 miles northeast of San Francisco, responded to the apartment complex before 1 a.m. after a woman who saw the live stream saw the women motionless on the floor, FOX 40 reported in Sacramento.

After hours of unsuccessful negotiations with the suspect, which police did not identify, officers used ‘diversion devices and chemicals’ to lure him out of the apartment.

Officers entered the apartment around 8:30 a.m. and used the suspect with a stun gun before being arrested, reports FOX 2 of the Bay.

The two women on the floor were found dead, authorities said. Their causes of death have not been disclosed and they have not been identified pending family notice according to FOX 40.

The suspect was wanted on an outstanding warrant for various crimes, including domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon, reports FOX 2. It was unclear whether he was facing charges of murder.
