Juan Manuel Abouzaid El Bayeh, who is considered one of the highest ranking members of the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG), was arrested during a military operation in the municipality of Zapopan, in the west of Mexico, informed the General Taxation of the Republic (FGR).
In this action effective participation of the Secretariat of the Marina (SEMAR) in the Federal Ministerial Police, following information proportioned by the state authorities, signaling the dependency. The detention took place on the avenue Ludwing Van Beethoven de Zapopan, in the state of Jalisco, CJNG bastion.
