Ultimately, the Buffalo Bill torture house is going to be an ‘immersive experience’.
This is what the new owner, Chris Rowan, told Fox News about the more than century-old house that served as Buffalo Bill’s murder scene in “The Silence of the Lambs.”

Rowan bought the four-bedroom home at the end of January, and soon the iconic property will welcome guests for overnight stays, fans and special occasions, including weddings.

The first two guests staying at Buffalo Bill’s House are likely to be welcomed for a weekend visit in March and are randomly selected through a contest hosted on social media.
Those who want to take part in a chance to win should follow and like the @BuffaloBillsHouse account on Instagram and Facebook. They will also need to make a comment with the #buffalobillshouse hat brand, and tag a friend they want to accompany for the weekend. Multiple labels are welcome to increase the chances of being selected, but contest rules require that each comment be limited to one label each.

Last but not least, hopefuls of the competition are asked to share Buffalo Bill’s announcement post on their Instagram and Facebook stories.
Winners should also note that they will be responsible for their own trip to the Pennsylvania home. A refundable deposit of $ 500 is required in addition to the credit card and driver’s license copies.

Rowan described Buffalo Bill’s House as a ’boutique accommodation’ that will create long-lasting memories for fans of the Oscar-winning horror film. Meals are not provided at this time; the house does have a functional kitchen.
Rowan apparently bought the famous 8 Circle Street home in Perry Township Fay, Penn. for $ 290,000, according to real estate sales by Zillow. He plans to use his background as an art director and stylist on film sets to transform the house into a film experience that offers guided tours for fans or can film opportunities for professionals.
Future plans for the property include recreated sets from ‘The Silence of the Lambs’, such as Buffalo Bill’s workshop, the pit where he trapped victims, and other identifiable plug-in scenes for photo opportunities.

The three-story house will not only be available for fans of horror movies to tour, but brands will also be offered to commemorate visits and overnight stays.
Buffalo Bill’s House is available for weddings and special occasions that can be hosted in the 2334-square-foot home, or on a 1.76-acre plot, where a garden house, a porch and koi pond are located. Views of the Youghiogheny River can also be seen from the house.
