It’s finally time to chase. Twenty-one cars begin the 2021 NASCAR season with Busch Clash on Tuesday night on the Daytona International Speedway.
This is the first time the Clash has run on Daytona’s road course. Teams will not train before the event, and this is the first time on the road for some riders since the final season in November at Phoenix Raceway.
Ryan Blaney will start on the pole. Alex Bowman starts second. Aric Almirola starts last.
Here is the information for the Busch Clash in Daytona:

START: The instruction to start engines will be given by The Busch Guy at 19:02. The green flag is expected to fly at 19:14.
BEFORE: Team guards enter the garage at 10 p.m. The cup garage opens at 12 p.m. Drivers report to their cars at 6:35 p.m. Driver’s launch is at 6:40 p.m. The call will be made at 18:54. Pryor & Lee perform the national anthem at 18:55 pm
DISTANCE: The race is 35 laps (126.35 miles) around the 3.61 mile roadway.
SPECIAL RULES: There is a warning after round 15. … Teams can work on their car during a red flag, as long as they are in their cabin or in the garage. … The damaged vehicle policy is in effect, but there is no six minute clock to complete the work.
TV / RADIO: FS1 will broadcast the race at 19:00. FS1’s coverage begins at 6 p.m. The broadcast of Motor Racing Network starts at 18:00 and can also be heard on mrn.com. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio will carry the MRN broadcast.
FORECAST: The forecast from wunderground.com calls for the most cloudy skies with a high of 66 degrees and a 9% chance of rain when the green flag drops.
LAST TIME: Erik Jones won last year’s incredible race at the oval. Austin Dillon was second. Clint Bowyer finished third.
