The Chicago Bulls are a team that wants to make a big impact before the NBA deadline. Although there have been quite a few rumors about the Bulls, there have been no star players attached to them yet. Could the big man, Kristaps Porzingis, be a potential target in Dallas Mavericks?

If the Bulls want to make a big time to improve their rankings, they will be looking for a player who can fit in with Zach LaVine in the long run. Porzingis is definitely a player who can fulfill that role.

So far this season with the Mavericks, Porzingis has averaged 20.2 points per game, along with 8.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks and 1.4 assists. He shot 46.9 percent off the floor overall, dropping 34.9 percent of his three-point attempts.

These numbers will look good for the Bulls. Chicago will likely face Lauri Markkanen or Wendell Carter Jr. must give up as the starting point for the trade package. To trade one of the guys, it’s worth acquiring a talent like Porzingis.

Although Porzingis has not yet been linked with legal rumors with the Bulls, The Big Lead certainly thinks he will fit well in Chicago.

Most likely, any trade package will also include that Otto Porter Jr. go back to the Mavericks to help with salary purposes. It would also not be something to cut for the Bulls.

Billy Donovan and his company are currently just outside the playoffs with a 16-18 record. That’s good enough for the number 9 series in the Eastern Conference. They are just two games back from the No. 4 seeded Boston Celtics.

In a very strict conference, the Bulls could be absolutely aggressive. They are not too far away, and a duo of Kristaps Porzingis and Zach LaVine will make them a frontier contender. The move will also give them something impressive to build in the years to come.

Expect to hear the Bulls in quite a few rumors as the deadline approaches. Porzingis may not be a target, but it’s definitely an interesting possibility to think about.
