The Buffalo Sabers apparently issued their biggest deadline assets minutes before the calendar was switched to the Deadline.
In 37 games with the Sabers this season, Hall has struggled to get his point across. While Hall scored 19 points, he scored just two goals.
Minutes after the first report on the trade in Taylor Hall was dropped, we received confirmed details from Darren Dreger.
Affirmative. Hall and Lazar to Boston for Bjork and a second round draft pick.
– Darren Dreger (@DarrenDreger) 12 April 2021
The Bjork to which Dreger’s tweet refers is the 24-year-old forward Anders Bjork.
Bjork scored just five points (two goals, three assists) in 30 games played this year. Throughout his NHL career, Bjork has amassed 39 points (16 goals, 23 assists) in 138 games.
Despite Bjork entering the city as a large part of the Taylor Hall trade, expectations must be tempered.
Anders Bjork, who was allegedly acquired by BUF, is a top six forward with a low attendance who played extraordinarily soft minutes without yielding much offensive. No, despite the WAR%, he’s no better than Taylor Hall. #LetsGoBuffalo pic.twitter.com/qKiqr9TMAm
