The last time the Tampa Bay Buccaneers reached the playoffs was after the 2007 NFL season. You have to go back to 2005 to find the last time they made it to the postseason as a double-digit winning team.
Of course, they had a double-digit winning year in 2010 under Raheem Morris, but missed the playoffs in part due to a consecutive NFC South division.
This year there are a lot of new things to see with this version of the Buccaneers. To begin with, head coach Bruce Arians led his team to production years for records that set the record.
Tom Brady set franchise records while also setting league points and building a lead over Drew Brees for the career record, just as it looks like the Saints full-back will leave his active service.
Tampa Bay contributes to rookies like Tristan Wirfs and Antoine Winfield Jr., who not only help silence Jason Jason obstacles, but also make Byron Leftwich and Todd Bowles popular names amid the coaching of candidates.
Perhaps the best change that gets the least pressure is the arrival of the franchise’s first reliable kicker since teammate Matt Bryant left town. Ryan Succop is also a record-breaker in the franchise series.
All of these new things helped Tampa Bay secure fifth place in the 2020 NFL Playoffs, and drafted a game against a team that occupies a special place in the hearts of the fan base.
Do you remember that the double-digit winning team we talked about won the play-off match? Well, that team also scored eleven wins. And they faced Washington in the post-season of the year, in the Wild Card Round.
The Jon Gruden leader of Buccaneers hosted the game back in 2006, while Ron Rivera’s version of the franchise is being offered in search of a new name.
This time, Bruce Arians takes his group to the Nation’s Capital to do what Gruden’s unit could not do; beat Washington.
And according to the NFL, they will do so next Saturday as the final game in a Wild Card Round triple-head, which airs on NBC at 8:15 p.m. ET.

The addition of a third Wild Card team in each conference and the subsequent expansion of the playoffs led to a Super Wild Card weekend of NFL action. For the first time ever, there will be three matches on Saturday 9 January and on Sunday 10 January three matches played at 13:05, 16:40 and 20:15 ET on each day. ”
The match has been fixed. The records are deleted. It’s ‘win or go’ time, and for a record set by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team, they hope this roadtrip is the start of a true historic finish in February at Raymond James Stadium.
