Buckeyes take over as best program of all time

The state of Ohio had a pandemic-shortened season, but the Buckeyes still managed to make an appearance in the national title. And they could definitely make a football history in their eight-game season.

During the past football season, the state of Ohio became the winning program by winning percentage in the football history of the university with a .730 winning percentage. This is most times among programs with a minimum of 800 games played.

The state of Ohio has the best winning percentage of all time over the past 100 years, 50 years and 25 years.

The Buckeyes dominated the Big Ten last year on their way to a national title. And although they lost in the title game, no program was more dominant in football history than the Buckeyes.
