Tom Brady did not throw the over-season deliveries of more than 35 yards in the final stages of his career, and his 36-yard pass to Antonio Brown had a meaning. Brady’s pass to Brown was his longest pass in the post-season since January 2012, when he completed a 61-pass to Deion Branch – part of a six-attack game in a 45-10 victory about Denver Broncos.

Brady threw six tackles of more than 35 yards in the post-season, the longest pass of 63 yards to Ben Watson in 2006. He threw two 60-yard passes to round the yard to Branch (2005 and 2012) and a 41-yard pass Bethel Johnson in 2004. His longest pass before completing the 36-yard to Brown was a 34-year test from Chris Hogan in 2017.

Brady had his 24th game in the post-season with two passing finishes, an NFL record (Brett Favre is second on the list with 15). Brady is 19-4 in the playoffs when he throws two plus-strike passes. He is also the oldest player to pass the playoffs at 43 years, 159 days, and surpassed George Blanda (43 years, 108 days).

Brady is also the first player in NFL history to throw 75 passes in the off-season.
