BTS meal at McDonald’s will include sweet chilli, Cajun sauces never released in the US

A new collaboration between McDonald’s and the Korean music sensations BTS brings unique sauces to the fast food giant’s menu for the first time.

From May 26, US customers can order BTS’s signature order from McDonalds: a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium fries, medium Coke and, for the first time ever in the US, Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces inspired by popular recipes from McDonald’s South Korea .

‘The band has fond memories of McDonald’s. We are excited about this collaboration and can not wait to share the BTS dinner with the world, ”the group, Bighit Music, said in a statement.

The offer comes after the successful launch of McDonald’s celebrity autograph launch program in 2020, with orders from musicians Travis Scott and J Balvin.

BTS is the first celebrity to share their order with customers worldwide, as the meal will be available worldwide in nearly 50 countries.

“BTS truly enlightens the world scene and unites people around the world through their music,” said Morgan Flatley, chief marketing officer at McDonald’s USA. “We are excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved group in a way that only McDonald’s can – through our delicious food – when we launch the BTS signature order on our menu next month.”

Since its debut album was released in 2013, the 7-member group BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, has sold the top-selling artists in South Korean history with more than 20 million records. They performed their song “Dynamite” at the 63rd annual Grammy Awards in March.
