BSO investigating woman shot dead outside Dania Beach apartments

DANIA STRAND, Fla. According to Broward Sheriff’s Office detectives, a woman was shot dead outside an apartment complex in Dania Beach on Saturday night.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., delegates responded to 321 E. Sheridan Street with reference to someone hearing shots. Delegates arrived to discover an adult woman lying on the ground and suffering from a gunshot wound.

Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responds and transports the victim to Memorial Regional Hospital where she later died.

The woman has been identified and according to BSO, notice of next of kin is pending.
