BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – The Walmart at Briarcrest Drive 2200 will close Monday at 2pm and will be closed until 30 December at 7pm. Walmart officials say the store will operate during normal business hours after reopening.
According to a member of the Walmart corporate affairs team, the entire building will be cleaned and cleaned by an outside company during the closure.
The store will remain closed Tuesday to allow time for stocking of shelves and to prepare the store for reopening.
According to an official statement issued by the corporate affairs team:
The company did not specifically say whether the closure and deep cleaning were related to any form of COVID-19 outbreak in the store.
