Broncos conducts interviews with a handful of GM candidates

The Denver Broncos interviewed several candidates for their newly vacated general manager after John Elway decided to hand over the role to a new person.

Via Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos interviews scheduled along with New Orleans Saints, director of pro scouting, Terry Fontenot, and Chicago Bears assistant director of player staff Champ Kelly. In addition, they will be interviewing Brian Stark, director of Broncos College also for work.

Minnesota Vikings assistant GM and VP of player staff George Paton will conduct interviews for the job, via Ilan Rapoport of the NFL Network, and New England Patriots assistant director of player staff Dave Ziegler will also meet with the team for the position.

Fontenot interviewed the Detroit Lions on Tuesday for their GM position and will also meet with the Atlanta Falcons this week. Paton was also undertaken to interview the Lions on Wednesday for their opening. Kelly is scheduled to interview the Carolina Panthers for their position.
