Britney Spears speaks for FX documentary for the first time

The Princess of Pop has finally spoken out after the February 5 debut of the controversial FX documentary “Framing Britney Spears.”

While not paying direct attention to the issues raised in the film, which include her conservatism through her father and the #FreeBritney campaign, the troubled singer took to Twitter late Tuesday night and shared a video of how she sang her hit song “Toxic “on stage.

“Can not believe that this performance of Toxic is from 3 years ago !!! I will always like to be on stage …. but I take the time to learn and be a normal person ….. I like to simply enjoy the basics of everyday life! !!! Wrote the star.

In what may be an oblique reference to her current circumstances, Spears added: ‘Every person has his story and their own fans of others’ stories !!!! We all have so many different beautiful lives !!! Remember, no matter what we know about a person’s life, it’s nothing compared to the person living behind the lens !!!! ”

Spears has been under conservatory management since 2008 under the leadership of her father, Jamie Spears, which means he controls her finances and essentially every other aspect of her life.

In November 2020, the superstar lost an attempt to remove her father from her conservatory. He now remains in charge, as co-conservator of the financial company Bessemer Trust, although the judge did not rule out future petitions for his removal or suspension. Spears refused to perform while staying under the conservatory.

Meanwhile, Kevin Federline, Spears’ ex-husband, confirms Jodi Montgomery, the singer’s care manager and person for the conservatory, according to his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan. “He thinks Jodi Montgomery has done an amazing job and he has no other position to concentrate on the conservatory,” reports E! online, quoting Kaplan.

Federline has 70% custody of his and Spears’ sons, while Spears has the other 30%.
