Britney Spears has assured fans that she’s doing well amid the #FreeBritney movement and a public reckoning of the exploitation of celebrities.

“Am I OK? Yes, I’m doing just fine,” the 39-year-old pop star said in an Instagram video where she asked fans questions on various topics. “I’m very happy. I have a beautiful home, beautiful children. I’m taking a break now because I enjoy myself.” Spears has two sons, Sean Preston (15) and Jayden James (14), along with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

This is the second time Spears has referred to her mental health after the February New York Times presents documentary Framed by Britney Spears. Against the backdrop of her growing career, the program addressed how the media treated Spears in the spotlight during her turbulent time, including her breakthrough in 2007, which led to a contemporary conservatory led by her father Jamie Spears.

Last month, the pop star revealed in an Instagram post that although she did not look at the buzzy doc, she was’ embarrassed by the light in which they put me ‘and added’ … I cried for two weeks and well … I still cry sometimes !!!! ”

Spears added, “It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability, because I have always been so judged … insulted … and embarrassed by the media … and I still am to this day! ! !! As the world keeps turning and life goes on, we still remain as fragile and sensitive as humans !!! “

Meanwhile, the documentary has inspired celebrities to apologize to Spears for the public abuse. Justin Timberlake (who dated Spears from 1999 to 2002) said he was sorry for misogynistic remarks about their sex lives in the wake of their breakup. And this week, comedian Sarah Silverman lamented that she roasted Spears and Paris Hilton during two different MTV Awards in 2007.
