Favre, who spoke about it on his podcast “Bolling with Favre,” said he does not believe Chauvin deliberately killed Floyd. However, the Green Bay Packers legend says his “actions were unsolicited.”

“I find it hard to believe – and I’m not defending Derek Chauvin at all – I find it hard to believe at first that he deliberately intended to kill George Floyd,” Favre said via TMZ Sports.

“It is said that his actions are unsolicited. I do not care what color the person on the street is,” Favre continued. “You do not know … I do not know what led to the video we saw where his knee is on his neck, but the man threw in the towel … It was just unsolicited.”

Favre also spoke about the reactions to which he said he wanted politics out of sport. Although he gave his opinion on the Chauvin verdict, he says he sticks to what he said.
