Breath of the Wild mod makes buying Link’s house less scam

While some would argue The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is perhaps one of the greatest games ever made, there are still aspects of the experience that are disappointing, or not quite as complicated as it may be. Take, for example, buying a home. Looks like that would be a pretty big issue, right? If you give away thousands of rupees to own a piece of property, it holds the expectation that you are worth something.

Instead, the house only has a few knick knacks you can display (for more calls!), And it also lets you restore your health. You will probably still buy the house if you are a finisher, but the cost does not seem to justify the return on investment. Maybe that’s why mud like Waikuteru came to the rescue.

As seen by Eurogamer, a new Breath of nature mod renovates the house and gives it a total makeup. There are more decorations that make the space cozier, such as hanging concept art, but that’s just the beginning. There is also a new stable where you can store a horse, a quick travel point, a cooking area, a fishing spot and even a mechanic with which you can keep a pet. Depending on how you treat your pet chicken, it can reward Link with eggs that can be used for cooking. Nice.

The video above shows all the benefits that come with the mod, but unfortunately you can not experience it unless you have a fake version of BOTW. After all, it’s nice to see people sharpen a game that’s already excellent – maybe Nintendo will try to incorporate some of these ideas into the ultimate sequel?
