BREAK: Galaxy Z Fold 2 One UI 3.0 stable update starts rolling out

Samsung today launched the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 stable update of the Galaxy Z Fold 2. The company first launched the One UI 3.0 beta update a few months ago to registered Galaxy Z Fold 2 users in South Korea.

The One UI 3.0 stable update has been released for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in Germany. The new software update, with the firmware version F916BXXU1CTLL, brings Android 11 and the January 2021 security level to the foldable device. Aside from Android 11 features like chat bubbles, a notification area in the notification area, one-time permissions, and a dedicated media playback widget, the new update also brings One UI 3.0 features, such as updated UI design and enhanced inventory applications to the Galaxy . Z Vou 2.

If you are a Galaxy Z Fold 2 user in Germany, you would have already received a notification for the update. If you have not yet received the update, you can check it manually by checking Institutions » Software update and to tap Download and install. You can also install it manually by downloading the new firmware from our firmware section.

We expect the update to launch in other markets soon. The rollout speed of Samsung’s software update has been impressive over the past year and the company has already released the One UI 3.0 update on most of its high-end phones.
