Bracketology Bubble Watch: Duke, North Carolina, UConn in action on a busy day for hopeful NCAA Tournament

at Georgia Tech, 12pm (ACCN) For the Orange, a win would be their first Quad 1 win of the season, although they have a home win over the Hokies. The 0-fer against the top group and a whip by Pitt is what Syracuse must compensate for. The Orangemen have a good schedule to make a productive run-up. against Syracuse – 12 hours (ACCN) Georgia Tech won three runs, most recently at Virginia Tech, to go to last place in my current series. Needless to say, this is not a safe place. This is the first home game with fellow bubblers as the Yellow Jackets hope to keep moving. by San Diego State, 4pm (CBS Sports Network) Boise State is now in the position that he needs the victory more than his opponent. A loss to the Broncos would put them down to .500 after two games in the Mountain West leaderboard and two games under the first quarter. This may not keep them out of the bracket, but it will probably place them third in the MWC pick order. vs. State of San Diego, 4 p.m. (CBS Sports Network) Game one of this series was won by the Aztecs on Thursday night. A sweep of the Broncos would be a big step toward safety in the bracket. teen Michigan, 12:00 (Fox) If you’re so desperate for a win of any kind like Indiana, Michigan is the last thing you want to see on your schedule. Clearly, this would be a huge win for the Hoosiers fast-fading tournament hopeful. It’s getting harder and harder to find reasons for Indiana. by Davidson, 2:00 PM (ESPNU) VCU wants to move again this afternoon in a tie on top of the A-10 position in Davidson. The Rams got good news because they expect their leading scorer Bones Hyland to be back for this game. A win moves VCU to 9-0 against Q2, but they do not yet have a Q1 victory. in Arkansas, 2:00 PM (ESPN2) Every time I think LSU notices this, they do something like lose against Georgia, which the Tigers did on Tuesday. This is a great opportunity to get out of the bubble forever. There is no hotter team in the SEC than the Razorbacks. vs. Marquette, 2:30 pm (Fox) The Huskies have done pretty well since Jerome Bouknight returned to the series. This is an important part of the schedule for UConn. The Huskies have three games left against teams that are not in the brackets and must all win. Marquette, however, is dangerous. Do not accept my word for it. Ask Creighton, Wisconsin and North Carolina. by Vanderbilt, 3:30 p.m. (SECN) Mississippi have nothing left in the regular season that can help them make a turn in the series, so they just have to keep winning so they can have a chance in the SEC tournament. This is the first of two games Vandy has left. vs. California, 4 p.m. (PACN) – The Ducks already have two bad losses, which is a big reason why it’s still bubbling. That and a lack of wins versus the quality of the tournament, but this game is to avoid a third bad loss of the season. against Air Force, 16:00 – The Rams resumed a fairly clean, if not spectacular, tournament. They shared all three series with the other league participants, but outside St. Louis. A loss would be a serious eye on their profile. vs. Florida State, 4:00 PM (ESPN) – The tar heels can fill a hole in their CV. The best win of the season so far was the destruction of 45 points from Louisville. They have yet to beat a team of this caliber. By doing so, the sting of the Marquette loss Wednesday will be removed. vs. Creighton, 5:00 pm (Fox) Xavier started the season so well, which included a 22-point victory over Oklahoma. The victory is about everything that keeps the Musketeers going. They did not come out well from their COVID break and lost three of their last four. They need a good performance against a Creighton team that sometimes played against the competition. against Louisville, 6pm (ESPN) – Duke went on to roll and won four times, including a win over Virginia. That put the Blue Devils up 11-8, but their resume is pretty scarce, with mediocre to bad losses that means and all of their best wins at home. Here’s a chance for another nice home win. vs. Southern Illinois, 6 p.m. (ESPN2) SIU gave the Ramblers trouble early in Friday’s game, but Loyola finally got away with a comfortable victory. This match ends the regular season for Loyola and a victory ensures at least a draw for the regular season. vs. Oregon State, 6:30 p.m. (PACN) Stanford lost two consecutive games, including one in Washington state, and dropped to 14-10 and only 5-10 against the top two quadrants. A win against the Beavers will not improve the score, but a loss could be the last straw in Stanford’s big hopes. by Bradley, 6:00 PM (ESPN) The Bulldogs scored a 9-point victory over the Braves on Friday night and are now ready to win the MVC Championship in the regular season. If Drake wins, it is certainly no worse than a tie for the title, and it will be the no. 1 in Arch Madness. by Nebraska, 7pm (BTN) The biggest problem with resuming Minnesota’s tournament for a long time was the lack of a win away from home. Then Gabe Kalscheur gets hurt and the Gophers dig themselves a hole. They have lost four in a row, most recently at home against Northwest. They need the victory not only because they do not have a victory, but because a loss can mean they are finished. teen UCLA, 22:00 (ESPN2) Colorado won a huge victory over USC on Thursday to complete a season match of the Trojans. Now the Buffaloes have a chance to oust the conference leader for the second game in a row. This time they want to avenge a loss from earlier in the season.
