Dr Mehmet Oz hosts his two-week term of Danger! Monday. When it was announced in early February that he was going to present, fans immediately backtracked. Despite the dropout of fans, Dr. Oz in for Alex Trebek, who recently died of pancreatic cancer.
“You know, I was so lucky to be friends with Alex, and I visited him and this show as often as possible,” Dr. Oz said at the top of the show. “One of my favorite memories was of Alex proudly showing me a room full of letters and support for him from you, from his fans. And of all his accomplishments, he was most proud of his commitment to you all at home. . ‘
While Trebek was popular with viewers, Dr. Oz received much more mixed reviews. The majority of viewers’ opinions on Twitter were negative. #BoycottJeopardy has also started to trend due to its appearance.
The first two weeks of #Danger I’m taking a pass since Alex. Dr. Oz is a charlatan and is not worthy of the host. See you in a few days.

While several viewers were disappointed by dr. Oz’s appearance, however, came out well. “Danger!” equaled the total profits of all three participants with a donation to its charity HealthCorps. On Monday, they raised $ 23,001 for a good cause.
