Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity said in a statement on Saturday that a new member of the BGSU chapter “was involved in an alleged incident of alcohol-related sous during an off-campus event.”

“The International Brotherhood is appalled and furious at this incident,” the International Brotherhood said in a statement. “The fraternity has a zero-tolerance policy against illegal activities, drug abuse, bullying and exposure of any kind.”

The BGSU chapter has been placed on ‘administrative suspension’, the fraternity added. “We will also continue with the permanent suspension of Delta Beta Chapter as well as the expulsion of all members of the chapter from the International Frathood.

A BGSU spokesperson told CNN that he also placed his chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha on interim suspension.

“Local law enforcement and university investigations are continuing,” BGSU spokesman Alex Solis said in an email to CNN. “However, I can confirm that we have placed Pi Kappa Alpha on interim suspension due to alleged exposure.”
