Bow Wow is being roasted on Twitter because he hosted a nightclub boom in Houston amid COVID-19 pandemic

Bow Wow is in hot water after hosting a concert Friday night in Houston amid the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

The 33-year-old rapper managed to pack a nightclub full of people who were seen without masks in the short area to celebrate club promoter Larry Morrow’s.All Black Birthday Week. ‘

When footage of the performance at the Clé nightclub flooded social media, Twitter users had a lot to say, prompting Bow Wow to respond before deleting all his tweets.

It comes days after Texas became the second state to record two million COVID-19 cases in California. Houston currently has a 20% positive percentage, with a more contagious tension being discovered in recent days.

The rapper – who has been trying to rename himself Shad Moss for the past few years – has seen him perform with a bottle of Don Julio 1942 in hand, while crowds of Texas residents turn up for the event.

The alleged weekend-long event was also attended by rapper Meek Mill with Trey Songz and Fabolous would also perform.

For many people on the internet, the only thing wilder than his blatant disregard for COVID-19 was the fact that so many people risked it all to see him perform hits from 2005 onwards.

Twitter users took up the case while dragging those who were desperate enough to see the somewhat outdated rapper, and even Zach Braff tackled the fun.

Another one writes: ‘You will all risk lives for …… BOW WOW? ” While Zach Braff was following it up, ‘I thought about it and decided I was not prepared to die for Bow Wow. ‘

Beginning in October, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued an executive order allowing up to 75 percent admission to indoor events, with tables of no more than ten people.

Houston Chief Medical Officer David Persse outlined safety protocols for hosting special events, which include six-meter physical distance, mask wear, temperature control and appropriate wristband once guests are released as symptoms.

The owners of the Spire nightclub, which also owns Saturday’s venue Cle, came under fire for a Lil Baby concert in late November after the video popped shoulder to shoulder without masks.

Open for business: In an executive order from October, the governor of Texas, Abbott said locals could be allowed to host indoor events up to 75 percent, even though Cle's owners came under fire for a Lil Baby in late November concert at their sister club.

An operator responded to the situation via a text message when he told ABC 13:

“We were under our legal occupation. Every night we are about keeping people socially distant. When Lil Baby (the main line of Wednesday night) started performing, people climbed out of their seats and rushed to the front area, so we had to cut the concert short. ‘

The rapper, who became famous as a ‘Lil Bow Wow’ at the age of 13 in the early 2000s, has lost a lot of credibility as an artist, with many of the tweets acknowledging that he is quite irrelevant in the music space.

After the rapper woke up to his actions, he turned to Twitter to try to defend himself, though he quickly removed it.

At 14:30 he wrote: ‘I just woke up … god. Here we go, ‘with the laughing emoji.

He went on to say: ‘Man, I’m having parties all year. I wore my mask in the club. I can ‘t tackle the thing. ‘

The Atlanta resident tried to add that he only removed the mask when he got up on the microphone, while adding, “Always keep disinfectant on me.”

One user tried to defend the rapper, saying, “we’re getting tired of these cute bulls, people have to and want to get out of the house,” to which Bow Wow responded.

He tried to free himself from any offense, as he quickly pointed out that “Texas is open,” as well as Atlanta. “I can not help living in a city where we have been open since last spring.”

Mask off: 'I wore my mask in the club. I can not act on the matter, 'he tweeted, adding that Texas is open for business.
