The Sims 4 is perhaps a life simulation game, but it gets pretty weird. Sims can go to work as an accountant, be devoured by a Cowplant, go out with the Grim Reaper and become a Star Wars character. One of the stranger additions to the late days is Bonehilda, a long-standing legacy. The latest Stuff Pack has a paranormal theme and players tune in to the afterlife so they can hang out with the best skeleton girl in all the games.
Bonehilda is both creepy (she is a skeleton and is a constant reminder of the inevitable skeletal war) and extremely helpful. She plays the roles of a butler or babysitter, takes care of Sim children and cleans the house. She dates from the original The Sims and she Makin ‘Magic expansion pack from 2003. Since then she has appeared in The Sims 3 and now The Sims 4. (For some reason, she continues the tradition of previous games not to do laundry, but it is very relatable.)
There are only two disadvantages to this domestic helper. The one is that human maids it is terrified of Bonehilda and tends to flee from the property. It is disappointing that there is no solidarity going on, but it is understandable. The other unfortunate thing is a transfer from previous games: Bonehilda can not hold any liquids she drinks as she does not have a stomach, and therefore only falls to the floor. At least she’s going to clean it up eventually, so it’s thoughtful.
It’s even possible to entertain Bonehilda and WooHoo with her. Some players rush to summon Bonehilda by the above supernatural means and then deceive her as quickly as possible so that they can replace Sim’s boring, normal, lively romance options with a skeleton servant. With one ritual you can even take Bonehilda’s form! The only thing better than one Bonehilda is two Boneshilda.
If fans take Bonehilda The Sims 4, a narrow surprise awaits them: a human version of Bonehilda, which is intriguing. Hilda – or Meathilda? – is a new thing for players to wear and dress, and an inspiration for fans.
Finally, Bonehilda is a small addition to The Sims 4, especially compared to recent expansions with new neighborhoods, universities and buildings.
