Boebert clashes with Parkland survivor on Twitter: ‘Give your keyboard a rest, child’

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) Shot in a Twitter dispute with the surviving David Hogg of Parkland School, saying he “should give your keyboard a break.”

After Hogg spoke about the permanent fencing of the Capitol building after the deadly riot on January 6, Hogg tweeted that “They can erect all the fences around the capital that address the real threats of @mtgreenee and @laurenboebert will still be inside until @GOPLeader take a stand. ”

Boebert shoots back at Hogg and tells him, “Give your keyboard a break, kid.”

“David, please. We all saw how tough you were when you were interviewed face to face, ”Boebert tweeted.

Boebert’s communications director stopped the day after the riot took place.

“After the events of January 6, I decided to separate from the office,” Ben Goldey said in a statement to Axios. “I wish her and the people of Colorado’s Third District the best.”
