After the riot in the Capitol, Boebert received a lot of criticism for her tweets saying: “This is 1776” and for the tweet from the Speaker Nancy Pelosi

Boebert’s communications director stopped the day after the riot took place.
“After the events of January 6, I decided to separate from the office,” Ben Goldey said in a statement to Axios. “I wish her and the people of Colorado’s Third District the best.”
