You would think that if you lived a life like Bobby Brown, you would run out of things to figure out for yourself. For better or worse, old man lived. But apparently Bobby Brown did not know he was claustrophobic until he acted as the Crab on season 5 of the season. The Masked Singer. While Rick Crab signed “Give It to Me Baby”, the Crab ran off the stage shortly after due to a panic attack. Talk to Billboard, Brown said: “I was just overwhelmed by the performance of the Rick James song and could not move as I would normally move and try to breathe at the same time.”
Brown has always been known for his energetic dancing during performances, and the battle with the Crab costume was more than he had planned. “I wear light clothes when I behave normally, and it had so many layers that it could hinder me like I did,” Brown said. “But it was fun to tackle, and I just had to deal with the fact that it was heavy and limiting.” The challenge was a little too much for Brown, and he was sent home with Tamera Mowry-Housley’s Seashell.
This was not the only surprise in the double episode of The Masked Singer. Guest judge Rita Wilson scratched out part of Naughty By Nature’s ‘Hip Hop Hooray’ because … she could? Wilson apparently memorized the rap since she had to perform it Boy Genius, per die AV Club. “You may not know it from me,” Wilson told the chameleon, “but I can spit a little flow.” We did not know about you, Rita. We have not. The world is just full of surprises.
