Bloober Team has been working on a “horror IP” with a “very well-known game publisher” for more than a year, company CEO Piotr Babieno told GamesIndustry.biz.
“We’re been working on another game project, another horror IP, for over a year, and we’re doing it with a very well-known game publisher,” Babieno said. “I can not tell you who. I can not tell you what the project is, but I’m pretty sure if people realize we’re working on it, they’ll be very excited. ”
Bloober Team recently released The medium, a psychological horror game, for Xbox series and computers. It contains music from award-winning Quiet hill composer Akira Yamaoka, who recently teased his next project, will be announced by the summer. At this stage it is unknown whether it is related to the next project of Bloober Team.
According to Babieno, Bloober Team’s future projects will “not necessarily be horror games”, but rather “thrillers” to address a wider audience.
