BlizzCon is the official celebration of all that Blizzard has to offer, with news and announcements, contests and performances for anyone who likes World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Diablo or any of Blizzard’s other games. This year’s event is going to be a little different, with the pandemic that could prevent it from being personal or hosting some of the biggest panels and celebrations we’ve come to expect. BlizzCon 2021 is called ‘BlizzConline’ and will be held on 19 and 20 February.
BlizzCon is a long event and contains several presentations and panels, so it helps to give an overview of what is happening and when it happens. Below we’ve rounded up a schedule of the biggest events, as well as how you can get involved. Unlike traditional BlizzCon events, everything is free.

How to watch BlizzCon 2021
You will be able to see everything from BlizzCon 2021 directly on the BlizzCon website. Normally, most of this content would be locked up behind a paywall for those who have not purchased a ticket, but with this year’s free format, you can watch it all over six different channels. There will be archives of videos you missed, as well as rebroadcasts as two events that interest you at the same time.
What to expect
Ear Watch
Overwatch 2 is on its way, and during the “Behind the Scenes of Overwatch 2” panel, the development team will give some insight into how it makes the game, and show some of its work so far. The event starts at 19:10 PT / 18:10 ET on February 19 and lasts about 40 minutes. We have seen very little of the game itself, although we have seen a long preview of a movie in the past. Unlike the original game, Overwatch 2 has a campaign mode.
Immediately after the panel begins ‘The Voices of Overwatch’, which will last about 90 minutes and features voice actors in which they discuss the performance of the characters and set a film again.
Diablo
One of the most exciting presentations of BlizzCon should be ‘Diablo: What’s Next’, which takes place on February 19 at 15:10 PT / 18:10 ET and lasts 40 minutes. It says it’s focused on content coming to Sanctuary, which could mean it’s multiple games. Diablo IV and the mobile Diablo Immortal are both in development.
Later in the evening at 17:00 PT / 20:00 ET there will be a Diablo Deep Dive with the development team, which goes into more depth at stake.
World of Warcraft
World of Warcraft fans first want to tune in to the “World of Warcraft: What’s Next” presentation on February 19 at 3:10 PM PT / 6:10 PM ET. Like similar panels for the other games, it’s 40 minutes long and focuses on new content that appears after the game. At 16:20 PT / 19:20 ET the same evening there is a “World of Warcraft: Voices of the Afterlife” panel with voice actors from the game.
You also will not want to miss ‘World of Warcraft: Cooking Workshop’ on 20 February. Start 15:15 PT / 18:15 ET and last for 70 minutes. Chef Lulaboo makes food inspired by Azeroth.
Herdsteen
Heartstone does not have a big “What’s Next” offer this year, but there are a few opportunities on February 20 to check out. At 12:35 PT / 15:35 ET, the presentation “Blizzard Art Studio: Reno Jackson” will show you how to draw the character using Heartstone artist Rafael Zanchetin. Later in the day at 14:10 PT / 17:10 ET, the “Hearthstone: Streamer Showdown” event will feature a live match between streamers and personalities Alec Dawson, Kripp, Alliestrasza and Liv Breeden.
