Blizzard unveils next week’s full schedule for next week’s digital BlizzCon • Eurogamer.net

BlizzConline, the only digital version of Blizzard’s long fan conference, launches next week and those eager to learn more about the long-awaited objects of Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 can now discuss the full schedule of the event to share their diaries to plan. accordingly.

BlizzConline is described as a “digital community celebration and exhibition of Blizzard games and universes”. It starts next Friday 19 February and lasts until Saturday 20 February. This is a free event, available to watch via Twitch and YouTube, and features a series of events streamed across six channels – a common Blizzard channel, and those focusing on World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo, Overwatch and ‘strategy’.

The most important watch of the weekend is probably the opening ceremony, which begins the entire event at 22:00 GMT / 14:00 PST next Friday. It promises to deliver ‘the latest from Blizzard Entertainment’, and will hopefully include some decent revelations.

Following the opening ceremony, starting at 11:10 pm in the UK, the World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo, Overwatch and Strategy Channels will begin streaming their individual programs of events, with the schedule promising the following updates for Diablo and Hearthstone , along with a Behind the Scenes of Overwatch 2. The Blizzard channel will meanwhile highlight select segments from all five BlizzConline offerings as the program launches.

Saturdays schedule starts a little earlier at 20:00 GMT / 12:00 PST, and will continue with individual programs of Q&A talks, developer panels, artist demos, even cooking workshops during the day. However, all six channels will merge again at 9:05 pm for an hourly Community Showcase focusing on the “best art, talent, storytelling and cosplay of the Blizzard community”, before doing their own thing again.

Although it is currently unclear how many Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 will be aired on BlizzConline, Activision recently indicated that fans should be patient for their eventual arrival, and none of the games will be launched this year. However, Diablo Immortal, the free mobile offering that received a less than good reception at BlizzCon 2018, will be released in 2021, and ‘multiple mobile Warcraft experiences’ are in advanced development.
