Blizzard Arcade Classics coming today on PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox One

Three of Blizzard Entertainment’s Earliest Games – The Lost Vikings, Blackthorne, en Rock N Roll Racing – is released again today on consoles and computers. The Blizzard Arcade collection drops on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Friday, Blizzard announced during the opening ceremony of BlizzConline. (The PS4 and Xbox One versions can be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, respectively, through backward compatibility.)

The Blizzard Arcade Collection costs $ 19.99 – it is also included as part of Blizzard’s Celebration Collection on the computer and The Blizzard 30-Year Celebration Collection on the console – and contains original editions and final editions of each game. Improvements include custom key assignments and the option to rewind the game for up to ten seconds.

The original editions of The Lost Vikings and Blackthorne contains a feature known as Watch Mode, which allows players to see a complete replay of those games and jump in at any point to take control of the action. All titles (minus the Definitive Edition of Rock N Roll Racing) will be able to save players’ progress at any stage.

The Blizzard Arcade Collection also contains a digital museum with bonus material, including game art, interviews and unused content.

Blizzard has the original versions of The Lost Vikings, Blackthorne, en Rock N Roll Racing by Battle.net in 2014 as free downloads.
