Black Ops Cold War-Free Access to Zombies

Recently, Treyarch started teasing that he would put a lot of prospects Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies game mode next week on January 15th. At the time of the teasing we were not sure what the developer would envisage, but as of today it looks like it has now leaked.

Seen via the Microsoft Store, a free trial of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies game mode has appeared. The list mentions that this download will be launched on January 14th and will give players a full week of access. During this period, those who want to play the whole of the Zombies aspect for Black Ops Cold War will simply have to download and upload the replay of the game.

While this is one of the biggest surprises that Treyarch apparently has 115 days in the offing, it probably won’t be the only one. Next week may bring more revelations of future content for Zombies Black Ops Cold Warsome of which may even begin next week with this free admission period.

Of course, as should be taken for granted, other parts of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will not be playable via this download. So if you want to dip your toes in the field of the multiplayer campaign for Black Ops Cold War, you have to buy the game as usual.

While this free trial is only now appearing in the Microsoft Store, you should be able to access it on all the regular platforms of the game. These include PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. I may be wrong on this point, but should not yet regard it as absolute truth.

Are you then at all excited about this development? Will you try to give Zombies a whirl during this free access period? Let me know in the comments or follow me on Twitter @ MooreMan12 to talk more.
