Biomutant release date set for May

THQ Nordic has announced that the long-awaited Biomutant will be released on May 25 this year. In a press release, THQ Nordic reveals that Biomutant will arrive on previously confirmed platforms – PC, PS4 and Xbox One – in May. No next version of the game was mentioned.

In addition to the basic version of the game, there are two special variants available: the Atomic Edition and the Collector’s Edition. The Atomic Edition, priced at $ 399.99 / £ 349.99, is the big daddy of the three and features a detailed diorama, steelbook, t-shirt, mouse pad, soundtrack, material art and a premium box, as well as the game itself. The Collector’s Edition, meanwhile, includes the game, soundtrack, material artwork and a statue of the hero, all packaged in a premium box, for $ 119.99 / £ 109.99, or ten of your chosen currency less than you choose for the PC -version. They are all now available to pre-order.

The gameplay in the press release contains the key features that developer Experiment 101 has revealed in previous previews of Biomutant, including the mutation and manufacturing systems, so it looks like the game is still the chaotic open-world experience that so many people have fallen in love with touched on. THQ Nordic also promises more information over the coming weeks and months.
