While the bills with their best quarter since Jim Kelly go to the playoffs, they looked at Jim Kelly’s nephew.

Chad Kelly received a trial run with the Bills on Monday.

In a seventh round of the Broncos in 2017, Kelly at one point worked his way to the No. 2 position on the depth map in Denver before tackling an off-field issue with a Halloween party, booze, a house wandering and being chased away by a vacuum cleaner attachment, the Broncos cut him.
Kelly spent 2019 with the Colts before being released in 2020 and signing with the training group. At the end of September, the Colts released him from the training group.

It is likely that the bills are not looking at Kelly for the post-season, but also for the off-season of 2021. Or perhaps the practice was thanks to his uncle at a time when the positivity around the team is as high as in years. Regardless, the trial took place. Where it comes from here remains to be seen.
