Buffalo Bills receiver Cole Beasley said Monday he played through a broken fibula in the play-off battle after suffering the injury in Week 16.
The 31-year-old put out Week 17 but has appeared in all three of the postseason games for the Bills. He caught seven catches for 88 yards in the AFC championship loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
“There was no way I was going to miss the playoffs, especially not after watching it in Week 17, so I would figure it out somehow,” Beasley said. told reporters.

The nine-year-old NFL veteran had the best regular season of his career with 82 catches for 967 yards and four touchdowns. He earned a place in the All-Pro second team with his production from the lock.
Beasley played in six playoff games this year with the Bills and Dallas Cowboys, but he played a bigger role in that group, and Buffalo had high expectations as he finished second in the AFC.
The team is probably glad he made it difficult. The receiver received seven passes – including three for a first-round pick – in a 27-24 victory in the first round over the Indianapolis Colts, which was the franchise’s first playoff game since 1995.
