Billionaire Mark Cuban investment in new Crypto project centered on booming NFT space

Billionaire entrepreneur and investor Mark Cuban is investing in an NFT (non-fungible token) market.

In a new tweet, digital trading platform Mintable reveals that the Shark Tank star is an official investor in their project.

Mintable’s marketplace allows users to create, buy and sell various types of Ethereum (ETH) supported NFTs, including visual arts, music, videos and game items.

Cuban recently told CNBC that he believes the impact of NFT technology is ‘real and permanent’.

‘It’s like the early days of the internet from the start. I think [NFTs are] going to be big. ”

NFT art continues to stun those in and out of the sector, and many sell it for high prices. Cubans, however, believe that prices, as the emerging market develops, will flatten out.

“… As more participants in the [NFT] market, it will become more efficient and prices will fall. ”

In recent months, the billionaire investor has increasingly supported the crypto-space and displayed enthusiasm for the sector. The Cuban Dallas Mavericks NBA team now accepts Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), USD Coin (USDC), Paxos (PAX) and Binance USD (BUSD) as payment.

Details of the Cuban partnership with Mintable were not disclosed, but the NFT market was say they are ready to announce more information about their upcoming seed investment round in the near future.

“We are very happy to have been supported by such a good businessman and forward-thinking man.

We will be announcing more about our seed rounds in the coming weeks, but we are looking forward to a very good year of 2021 for NFTs and Mintable! ”
