Billionaire Jared Isaacman managing the first civilian spaceflight

Elon Musk‘s the keys to a SpaceX rocket on Jared Isaacman – a billionaire himself and pilot preparing to lead the first ever civilian spaceflight.

Jared joined us on ‘TMZ Live’ on Tuesday and told us all about the historic mission that will begin in October and what he looks forward to most when he and three other citizens enter a lane.

Elon announced Monday that Jared will be commander for the voyage, and he has already begun hands-on training for the SpaceX Dragon capsule. Sounds like he’s ready to ignore the autopilot, if necessary, but don ‘t worry … he’s a skilled pilot with a flying speed record to his name.

It’s pretty cool … Jared brings three other citizens to space for a multi-day journey through the earth, and he tells us how two lucky people can put spots on the capsule by making a donation to a great cause.

For now, Ibusinessman Rocketman tries to stay grounded and take the preparations for the mission day by day, but you can see he’s on the verge of getting serious pilot bragging rights.
